A fair start to see some plantations and lunch at a tavern and then started raining about noon requiring side curtains and canceling the second plantation.  Then it got nasty. Game over.....

We are crossing the river to Jamestown on you guessed it the Jamestown Ferry run by the state. It was on Route 31. It was about a 15 minute ride. Total mileage - 1326

Somewhere in North Carolina - David and Peggy Stewart are having a "stop and smell the roses moment" or fix some stuff on the Packard. Either way they are both enjoying the journey.
